Harrowing Pass

This small, winding pass is one of the easiest ways to travel through, or over, the Elder Mountains. At one end lies the Blood Iron Hills, while at the other end you enter the infamous Slaughter Hills!

Originally known as Fazoun’s Pass, this pass became well known (and renamed) following the ill fated attempt to seize control of the Slaughter Hills. Now immortalized in song and poem, it was to this pass through the mountains that the surviving troops fled, being harrowed all the way.

“From the dawn to the dark, to the midnight clear, the fahrman chased and harrowed and near’d.”
